The range

The three sizes in detail.

Every GTC is designed for water wells, geothermal and geotechnical drilling, all the way to DTH in rock – and all three can optionally be equipped for dry drilling. The difference lies in depth, power and mobility. Here you will find all three in detail, with uniformly structured data tables – and below them, the tooling that goes with the machines.

The portable one

GTC Compact

Drilling mast and hydraulic power unit are separate modules: the machine is set up right where you drill. In the backyard, behind the house, on a slope – all by hand, no crane required.

Road approval available

On request, the GTC Compact can be approved for road use via individual inspection – then you tow it like a trailer behind a car or van straight to the site. A huge advantage, especially for smaller companies.

  • Portable setup: mast and power unit reach the borehole individually, even through narrow access ways.
  • Fine control: progressive hydraulics for clean borehole guidance.
  • No more machine than necessary: built for garden wells and tight sites.

For boreholes well beyond 80 m or frequent commercial use, we recommend the GTC 80 or GTC 100.

The all-rounder

GTC 80

Self-propelled on tracks: the GTC 80 drives itself to the borehole and stands securely on almost any terrain thanks to its rugged chassis. The machine for companies that drill regularly.

  • No hauling: the machine drives itself to the borehole.
  • Built for the daily grind: designed for recurring use.
  • Van instead of low-loader: compact enough for a van or trailer.

The powerhouse

GTC 100

The flagship: fully hydraulic, Kubota diesel, 2.5 tonnes of pull-back force. The GTC 100 is engineered for frequent professional use – and still stays compact enough to fit into a van.

  • DTH-capable: drills rock with a down-the-hole hammer. The required compressor is not part of the scope of delivery – we advise on the right size.
  • Telescopic tracked undercarriage: passes through narrow gateways by remote control.
  • Two-speed gearbox: torque or speed, depending on the formation.

What does a GTC cost?

A flat number would be a lie: the price depends on the tooling package – rods, swivel head, bits, matched to your soil and depth. You will receive your binding quote with itemised positions within two business days, without registration and without call-back loops. On the phone, we will give you an honest price range for your project up front.

What goes with it

Swivel heads & drilling tools.

H-series water swivel heads from the VLIG factory, plus drill rods, drill bits, augers and DTH hammers as a matched tooling package from a single source. The H-series also fits third-party rigs.
